I know these rumblestrips are everywhere, but there's not a single route I've been able to find around Aiken that's free of them. Since they don't do shoulders here in South Carolina, these defacements force you to ride well out in the traffic lane. If I ever run into any local cyclists, I'll ask them what they think or if they just get used to them. There's an Aiken Bicycle Club but I haven't seen them around.
