This is traveling north on M99. It almost looked like someone bladed gravel over the aved part of the shoulder. It makes it almost impossible to ride the shoulder and you need to ride the traffic lane. M99 is pretty good, but in a few miles M34 going toward Hudson and a lot more of this stuff and the west bound side of the road was even worse. Still a lot better than I'm used to.
