This was the type of subverisve music that would never have been allowed into our house while I was growing up. I have it on an album from 1956 (? I think) called "The Johnny Otis Show". I have a hard time accepting that it was on television in those times.
For me this is just plain fun. The music is so upbeat, the lyrics have in intriguing amount if catchiness and innuendo.
