Sometimes it gets politically funny. Garfunkel and Oates explore a slippery slope here which is really appropriate for those moist characters. But it really gets one to thinking about why this is even a topic for discussion. My preception is that gay marriage is something mostly that religions are against. So my thinking is that if marriage is something defined by religion, then only their practioners should be doing it (as long as it doesn't voilate any real laws). On the other hand, if marriage is a political thing with consequences around taxes and property rights (which it really seems to be) then the religionus ninnies can stay out of it. Me? I just wanna new duck. Anyway this is clever and makes fun of the whole argument thing. I chuckle whenever I hear it.
